Hello all,

Looks like I may be joining the s2k family soon!
I am found a S2K that is located in Jacksonville, FL and will be getting it shipped to Southern Cali.

Can anyone recommend any mechanics, auto shops/indy shops (or maybe even forum members) that can help me inspect the car beforehand to make sure everything is safe and sound?

I haven't seen the car, but I have known Buddy for a while. He takes really good care of his vehicles. I know he hasn't had it for too long, but he wouldn't have bought it if there was something wrong. I used to be the guy people would go to for prepurchase inspections, but I moved. The next guy I can think of is going through personal/family issues so I doubt he would have the time or desire. Maybe Helio or Tibor- they have bought enough of them to know exactly what to look for lol.

Thanks for that, Buddy seems like a stand up guy but its nice to hear from other people.
That's too bad, because I was searching like mad yesterday for inspections/mechanics in Florida and your username kept popping up on multiple threads, but I do see your city is in Arizona now. Instead of messaging you (and other users directly) I was going to give others a chance to offer their services if they wanted to a make a little money on the side though.

"Helio" or "Tibor", are those are other jacksonville forum members names you recommend?
