Thank you ITRBROHAM! How much do you think it would cost to make an s2000 just the same as the Arvou?

I'd say that's worth it. 40k in parts and faster then like 99% of cars on track and still a legit daily driver

Yeah... just the dry carbon face kit is $18-19K, TODA 2350cc engine kit is around $8K I believe, AP BBK is ~$2300, ATS LSD $1600, Amuse dry carbon hood is $5K, Advan GT wheels are $3600+, and then the hard top, which if it's the carbon one then that's $7,000.... and we haven't even included the supercharger + associated supporting upgrades.

Mayyyyyybe if you ordered it all from one place they'd give you a bulk discount @ $40K lol (kidding, most definitely not)... then you've got paint and body work.

If you really want to spend all that money I say go for it. Would sure be a fun car to look at.

I assumed FRP of the Legalo front end (wasn't sure if it was the dry carbon version), just went off what they had actually specified. Otherwise you're definitely right.

Yeah it'd be more than $40k. You have to factor in shipping all that stuff from Japan as well as the motor build with the toda parts, ECU, tuning, etc. Oh and according to their web site their Arvou Toda kit is 1,200,000 yen which at the current rate is just shy of $12,000. So lets say $60k in parts, labor, shipping etc. Add $15k for the base car and you are at $75k. That doesn't seem like a very good deal.

40k after paying off an s2000... In my situation, that would leave me at 60k+ (which is still a conservative estimate since there is more cost to be factored in as mentioned above) At that stage, I'd rather have a M2 or a used c6 z06 or a c7 which would be faster than like 99% of cars on track and still a legit daily driver.
