I ended up buying one used as well, hopefully the fitment will be decent. Did you buy then one on kijiji from Ontario with the crack in the front? I seen that one but he wouldn't ship it.

Oh right on. Would you happen to have any spare hardtop brackets or know where I could get a set? I bought a hardtop with brackets, but they got stolen during shipment.

If only you asked a couple weeks ago! i had a set sitting in my basement for a couple years. Just sold the two engine mounts to somebody who's cutting them up for an old Corolla. Oh well. I still have the transmission mount if you have any interest in that...

Also, why the surgery on the car?

Shoot, I would of defiantly bought those. Ya I would be interested in the trans mount.

I have it out for a rebuild, its got 235k it was burning some oil and it needed a clutch bad. Someone installed a cheap ebay disc.. the springs were destroyed and throw-out bearing was really bad also. Know wonder it had so much noise.

Are you documenting the rebuild here/elsewhere? my engine is around the same miles and i would be interested in seeing the progress. I forget if your car is early AP1 or not. If you need a set of new oil banjo bolts I've got a set i can sell you (like these).

For the trans mount, the only hiccup is the 'u-bracket' part the bolts onto the trans. It had a crack in it that was welded back together. I never put it on the car, so i'm not 110% sure it's still a good fit. But from what i recall, it's basically just a section of 2" square steel sectioned lengthwise. The rest of it is perfect though. I'm in halifax, you can have the trans mount for free 99 cause i'd probably just throw it out otherwise. PM me for my cell and you can grab it the next time you're in the area.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/automoti...hread-1108070/

Mine is a 2001 AP1. What is the mileage on yours?

Ya if its been fixed I don't really want to chance it. Thanks anyways tho I appreciate it.

Looks like some good progress! I haven't had time to be working on mine, will have to wait until the summer since I will be away for the next 5-6 months again. I had shine auto products on my old MR2 and the fitment was spot on. I plan on ordering some s2000 stuff from them soon as well. With the timeline this year I am only going to get my suspension, new wheels/tires and some bodywork done. Next year I will progress on the exterior plans and probably look at wrapping the car.
