Just got back from a trip up to northern va and while the roads in and around DC are terrible I found an amazing road near Dumfries.

Joplin Rd.

Scenery: 8
Curviness: 9
Road/Pavement Quality: 4
Police Presence: Low(5)
Traffic: Low(5)
Total Rating: 31

My GPS must have known I was in the S bc the road was made for it. Not only did it have all the curves you could ask for it was impossible for cops to be sitting on it. I was about 3 miles into the 10 mile stretch when I noticed a black BMW behind me. We both gunned it and had a great remaining 7 miles. I took most of the corners while he caught back up to me in the straights. There was also great elevation changes with some being the 4 wheel leaving the road type. When I got to 95 I had to get off the catch the interstate, slowed down and me and the BMW pay each other respect and went out seperate ways (ended up being some grey haired older guy). If you are in the area you need to find the Joplin,

I live in Germantown and I always find the drive to Daisy Auto Care enjoyable. That being said, I'm also looking to explore new local roads.

There was a similar thread on a 370Z forum that I came across. I have done the "Baltimore County" route north of Baltimore, and it was a good time.

Drove the 'Oregon Ridge Park Sprint' this morning, great time. Added one missing direction in red above.
