Default Too early to switch to Summer Tires?

So the weather has been really nice lately. I checked the forecast and for the most part it look like average temps are going to hover above 40F. I am currently on DWS06 on my winter rims. I was thinking to put back my Summer tires Super Sports on Stock wheels. I know there might be the occasional snow in March but I don't take out the S in the snow anyways. Do you guys think it is premature to swap tires so early? This is the first time I have had the luxury of two sets of tires. I have never had to make the decision before. When do you all swap back? Just curious.

I was thinking the same thing today. I might switch mine this weekend.

Just make sure you are not mixing allseason\winter front with summers in the rears. That would be worse than summers all round. Unless ofcourse your rears are bald.

Unless you put winters on the rear only, that would just be drifting fun time.

If you don't drive it around in the snow and are mindful of your tires when the temps do drop, it shouldn't be a problem. I ran my RE-71R's through the winter and was fine. You'll notice that they feel a lot different when it's really cold, so just drive accordingly. The weather has been so nice lately -- I am hoping it stays this way!

I know. I initially was torn between going All season vs dedicated winter. I am glad I settled on the DWS06. Even those felt unnecessary this winter. I guess they helped me save the tread on my super sports for the really good months. The DWS06 is probably the best AS tire out there from a snow point of view. But even after the stiffer side walls, the turn in and tire response to steering input leaves a lot to be desired. Especially compared to the PSS. When I first got my S2k last year. I was like wow, this car has telepathic steering. But come winter times I was like.. yup its the PSS...

Going to be in the 20's Friday night. Might want to wait just a bit longer.
