Best driving roads in KC
Hey all,
was wondering what are your go to roads in the area. I've tried those motorcycle roads websites but those are pretty hit or miss.
I've driven K-5 a bunch and surrounding roads but looking for some new stuff

Damn. I was going to say K-5. However, I will say I love that road but have never felt safe on it. There are a lot of good roads up north - not as many curves as K-5, but it's isolated driving on two-lanes that are mostly smooth and safe.

Where is this K-5 you guys talk about?
I just moved here lol.. I went out exploring a while ago and found that from platte city to smithville is pretty fun. Its all backroads and you can get pretty aggressive, just gotta watch out since you got farms left and right.

My stomping grounds both in my S2000 and on my bike is the area north and northeast of KCI. I am not the only one who uses those roads to ride bikes either, so use caution and know there are a lot of cyclists in the area most nice weekends. Also, some of the roads are not the smoothest, so watch out for that with the low profile tires.

I saw all the pictures on FB of that, looked like a blast.
