its over 9000!

posted this on another board and was tipped to try my luck here so here goes.

after driving yesterday I could hear a rattle in the engine bay and upon searches online and cross referencing sounds of other s2k videos and info I've read, I believe my tct needs to be replaced. I'm not worried about the labor for the tct itself, it seems to be fairly simple. however I have seen several mention that I should get my valves adjusted as well. I'm wondering if anyone happens to know a good place to take it to or someone who knows this car and can do it proper that is around the Minneapolis area of MN. its a 2000 ap1 no mods.

any input is greatly appreciated. would be great to find someone around here who knows there way around this car and hopefully I can get this sorted out.

Caught you over here (from Under Hood section). A friend that lives near St Cloud U, takes his S2000 to here:

The place is in Sauk Rapids, which is a good 70 miles north of Minneapolis. But, he says they are very familiar with foreign cars. The MG/Triumph Club of MN goes to Midwest Motors for their annual open house. Anyhow, give Midwest a call, they may know of a good shop in Minneapolis area. I'll copy this message in Under Hood, too!

I called Imola Motorsports in Plymouth and they do not work on Honda's but recoomended OHV motors in Eden Prairie MN, I called and they seem super nice and knowledgeable. They are highly reviewed on Google and it turns out the Owner has an S2K and they regularly service 5 or 6 different S2K's. Quoted 240 dollars for the adjustment. Hope this helps.
