So the wife wants a dog.

Here are some suggestions I have for a name...

Deefur (as in 'D' for dog)
Neighbour (will be great opening the back door and shouting "Neighbour!")
Sit (will have to say Sit, Sit to get it to sit)
Antoe (great for saying "Heel Antoe")
Dick (great for saying "Come here Dick" when out for a walk)
In fact any swear word or genitalia word would have been good.


But the wife has said I can't have any of the above so do you have any suggestions?

Let your wife name the dog. And don't give it a name that would embarrass it. A buddy named one pair of dogs Andy and Fergie and the other pair Ronnie and Maggie. (You can guess how long ago that was!)

BTW I know of a guy (old ex military) who has a black lab that 15 years ago named it nigg**, I love watching him call it on our local beach at the top of his voice, this is no lie, and a joy to behold.
