The original engine made it to 110K and then spun a bearing. She got a heart trans plant of a 2002 that sat for about 9 years after a major crash with get this.......only 15,900 miles on it! Yes,16K on a 2002 engine........purchased in 2012! Since I bought the WHOLE CAR and took it totally apart I figured why not keep the odo with the engine.......this way there is no guessing or math on how many miles the engine has on it...........it just matches!
So all in all............call it 125Kish. I know that's nothing compared to some.
I have a wife, a kid, a house, moved to NC it's been a time..........still get out in it fairly often. Kid is now big enough to ride in it so it's getting a LOT more use. He loves putting the top down and says "go faster daddy" and "just go around him". What an instigator!
Doesn't hurt that winter is a month shorter on each end compared to New England.

Hi Guys, haven't been on here in a few years. Got busy with other things. My boat probably has more mileage in last few years than the car. I did take it out more often a couple summers ago and pushed the odometer over 30k. I still have the car and unfortunately sits in the garage. I do plan on taking it out more this summer. Hopefully hit up some of the drives this year. I'll have to come back on here more often to see whats going on. Can't believe the car is hitting 15yrs now.
Hope to see you all soon - George.

Hi Cubs2k! I'm all for changing the title... but not sure I know how?
I also have some bad news. After searching and looking at some used s2000's and really falling in love with a couple of them, I ended up doing a 180 and buying a new 2017 Ford Focus RS instead.

Good luck with the new car. Sorry it's not an S2000, but I'm sure it's a fun vehicle.

Wow it's been ages and was browsing to see who still on here and what not. Still got my GPW S2K but barely drive it now since I'm so comfortable driving the 3 series as a daily driver. The S will need some TLC clutch is going and maybe valve adjustment as well since its a year 2000.

I edited the original post/title - but it doesn't seem to have affected the thread title. Please go ahead and modify it if you can/care.
