Our radio in the S is giving us problems. We thought we were all set. The radio shop got the sounds cranking for us, adjusted the amp and the stereo never sounded better.

BUT, one side would still kick out and it would come back on when the volume knob was adjusted. Then the CD player started skipping, often. Rick would like to replace the radio. He thought had a line on a used radio, but it's been sold.

So if anyone has an radio for a 2004 S, that you'd like to sell, PM me with a price. We have found out that the radios for earlier models do not fit.

S2000 radios sell for under $200 and as low as $30 routinely on Ebay. There are several different radios that will fit. 39100-S2A-A91 is the part number for the 2004 radio.

This is for the 2006 so not "correct" but should fit.

Once into Ebay there are usually links to similar radios and you should find a 2004. Maybe not today, but one should turn up. The right year will be plug and play.

Yes we did thanks. Still a speaker issue, but the radio is now playing CDs properly. I think we just need a new S2000. When are they coming out???

A new set of very light weight and efficient aftermarket speakers will sound just fine. Honestly replacing the radio with an aftermarket one is way better even on stock speakers but I understand where you might be coming from. Stuff after 10-12 years just starts either breaking or in the speakers case........the surround has completely deteriorated(disappeared) and is floppign all around. Foam surrounds and even rubber ones only last just SO LONG.
