Damnn, sorry to hear about your ordeal Lon, this story hit many forums, especially the BMW forums, but good to hear everything has been settled. Interested in a alpine white e90 m3? I know you have a soft spot for white cars, hehe.

As of today, the settlement payment cleared to my bank. So I feel safe to say this ordeal is over with, FINALLY!

Thank you! to everyone who took the time and reached out or even just reshared my story.
It's amazing how many people and car communities this reached.
It was through this that my story reached my lawyer/car enthusiast Jora Malaky!
I can't go into detail but the seller has taken the car back and I have accepted a settlement payment.

Thanks again everyone. The search continues
Good to hear it was resolved. Glad I was able to get you in contact with Jora. Hes a great guy.

OK, understand you can't go into details. Questions just calling for one word answers:

Were you fully satisfied with the result?

Also, was Paragon Automotive victim or culprit?

Not sure if you want to deal with buying from across the country again but here is another GPW with R/B interior, looks pretty mint to me.

I was actually just thinking about this ordeal this past weekend as i saw it on the Facebook s2k page when it first happened.
My friends thai food place is across the street from this deal and i kept wondering what happened.

Glad it all worked out, and that you took legal action.

Glad to hear you got this resolved, Lon! I skipped through the thread from page 1, but I think I even saw this on Jalopnik?

I noticed this a few days ago. Not sure what MY you're looking for though. Best of luck finding another mint GPW S!

Judging by the amount of scam stories on this forum I guess its a good idea to quadruple check before making a deal with somebody from California ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Um, anytime you're dealing with a large sum of $ you should always do your homework, regardless where the seller is from.
