Default winter tires now? (low 70s, high 60s)

Any thoughts about swapping out winter tires for summer tires now? It's kind of warm, but am concerned the temps will be too cold for summer tires in a few weeks.

How much faster will winter tires wear out when driving in the high 60s and low 70s? Let's assume about 250 miles of driving....

Should be above 40 degrees for summer tires. They will be hard and slippery below that temp.
Winter tires wear faster because they are soft not because of the heat so it's beneficial to remove them as soon as possible if you have an alternative.

Its hard to gauge as weather has been all over the place, but my rule is to keep them handy till mid march. If its your only set of wheels I'd hold off till mid march before making any decisions.

The weathers all over the place recently and its supposed to snow a little bit by the end of this week so if you don't have a 2nd car for the snow then leave the winter tires on till temps are constantly at 50 most of the day.

This is when all season tires comes into play for your daily driver. Less than 40 degrees in the morning commute. 60 plus in the late afternoon commute.

Great feedback....for now, I'll leave the winter tires on. Temperatures are all over the place. Will consider all season tires once the winter tires are worn-out (in addition to summer tires)

End of April or May is a safe time to make the switch to summer tires.

We have gotten snow in April before. This weather is cray cray
