I wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish I knew what fluid was used when I had it changed the first time. I know it made a huge difference.
I have used a variety of tranny fluids, I still come back to Honda's OEM MTF
For the diff though, there is only one thing, and that IS NOT a multi-viscosity mix, as far as I'm concerned

The so called skipping shifts destroy a tranny early is bogus as far as I'm concerned
My car shifts just great, AP1, 65k miles, 5 some years of track driving, skipped shifts there, as well as lots on the streets, my car still shifts just great

Oh, one last thing, I agree, for some people skipping shifts might be a problem
When it comes to smooth shifting, proper rev matching and heal toe shifts, not all men are created equal...

UPDATE 2/22/11:
No grind or struggle experienced going into 2nd gear on todays commute. Im just being very measured and that seems to be doing the trick. Again this is a problem I experience in the Si NOT SO MUCH in the S.
Doug - Knew you'd chip in. Thank you for your insight again
Another thing I noticed is that on the thread xviper started a lot of the owners with issues appeared to be MY2000 owners. Also if you read through the thread xviper has the following to say which substantiates skip-shifting done the right way.
