Default Anyone HPDE/TT S2K in CNY area?

Hey guys!

I'm new to the forum here and curious if anyone in the CNY area is doing HPDE/TT events this year? I've been doing track days in my 97' NA miata and i'm upgrading this year to an AP1. Just seeing who's around.

Check out the track day thread.

There's also a thread here for a gathering of S2000's at Watkins Glen in July.

Central New York is tough. There is the New York Safety Track and Watkins Glen and maybe Pocono. Metro new York guys seem to run several events at the Safety Track.

Chris Allen is from CNY and is an intrepid autocrosser.

As for DEs no one that I know off from the area, but we have a sizeable contingent that is from all over the Northeast that tries to get together and do as many events as possible in each other's company.

The NY Metro group, all good guys, go to NY Safety Track a few times in a season. We also have the group that goes to Watkins Glen. So as and when you get your S2000 you will not lack for company at a track day. Even if you keep your Miata and you see an S2000 at an event, come up and say hi. Chances are it will be someone that's a regular on here. Good luck with your search for an AP1.

Thanks for the responses guys! I've been running with NASA for all last year and I know there was a whole group of S2k's at Limerock when I went in August. I'm looking forward to the future with a S and am actively trying to become part of the community on here. BTW I'f Chris Allen has a Blue S2K with RPF1's iv'e definitely talk with him at an autocross event. Good driver.
