I give ya credit fella - Of all the chores of owning a track car there is nothing I hate more than WIRING !!

I avoid it at all cost, which would answer why there are very few gauges in the #59.

Every single harness on this car has been tapped into 100 times, wires cut, spliced, extra wires everywhere. This thing is a complete mess. I saved every harness from the blue car and will be swapping them over. Still undecided if i want to spend the time and trim down those harnesses to get rid of things like the air pump and cruise control or if i will just leave them. I've got a lot of work ahead of me. It's hard enought to swap these harnesses in a stock car let alone one with a full cage, very tight fit inside there, upside down, on your back, under the dash.

If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself!

Did some more work last night, didn't take any pictures though. Got some more stuff out of the engine bay and swapped the front subframe. I had a nicer subframe sitting on the shelf and the one in the car had a lot of overspray from the partial engine bay shave. Also took off the entire front end suspension off so i can get the upper a arm shock mounts welded.

Ordered some more suspension bushings, hoping to get the lower a arms and a mess of other parts powdercoated soon and get it all back together and rolling.

Well, over the last week I got a TON of work done....it just happened to be on Greg's car. The warm weather has me motivated tho, and so last night after Greg left I started scraping the A-arms down so I can weld them.

With the excepting of a clutch and top I'm not taking on any work this month so I can focus on this car and my vintage bike. Need a little me time for my projects before I start getting buried with my 9-5. Vintage racing takes place in Ashville NC in May so that bike will get a quick tune up.

You'll really like the LED setup. I put up 7 fixtures with LEDs a couple of years ago. Nice and bright and instant on on cold winter days.
