Default Newbie

Guess I'm the Newbie here. A divorced and engaged Architect of 52, a male, and toy freak. Have three bikes, one here in Rochester, one in Lake Mary, Florida, and one in Boulder, Colorado (2 Harleys and a Yamaha V-Max). Have several boats in the 1,000 Islands (half an S2K, sort of) and a gun collection. Drive a Cadillac STS, first American car in twenty years, 300 horses are fun. Drove a 2K at my club buddy John Holtz' just for kicks to see what it was all about, and, just like my 911, picked up a silver and red the next morning at eight. What a toy addict I am! Nailed a ticket for over 100 in the north country, in the STS no less, last spring and after four months and big $ in legal fees got a two pointer. Whew!!!!! So, the new toy is a rocket ship, a tad different than my MGA's and the 911. I love the 2K and will someday really learn to drive it, maybe at the Glen. I'm kind of a ticket prone guy! Glad to be with you all. My rear window is a joke but I rarely have to use it whatever the temperature. Used to drive the MGA's in snowstorms with the tops down. Lights were tough, usually had to run them. See you on the roads and curves at 9K. Dan

Good god! They're everywhere! They're everywhere!

Welcome! This area seems to really be picking up or maybe it's just that people are starting to find this web site. We'll need to set up a weekend encounter soon just to try to put faces to names.

So, how come Doug and I are the only Rochesterian with color sense (SPa Yellow)??

Dan, Welcome!!!
My Dad still has his '57 MGA with the Judson Supercharger, what a wonderful car. He is to blame for my S2000 addiction. I remember Daddy driving to work, snow flying, top down, wearing a big hat and an even bigger smile!

I'm just can't believe how Rochester is growing! Jeff has been around for a long time and has been on his own for a long time, and then in the past year people have just been popping out of the ground.

More later, got to run to Holtz.

Triple H, Yes, silver with red leather. Got it in June, 2001, fresh off the truck and I love it. Can't wait to get it back on the road. What color is yours? Dan

What?? It's off the road and the sun is out and the winter has been mild and there'snoreasontotakeitOFFtheroadinthefirstplace??

What color is yours?
Doug's is transparent since he hasn't gotten it yet. It'll be yellow if/when it arrives (something about a ship sinking)...

It's off the road because I hate salt and if I don't drive it all winter it makes it exciting to think about spring for the car, my boat, my cottage and golf all which involve getting there via the S2K. Dan
