October 28th - Palmer Motorsports Park
Hi all, I've recently registered for the October 28th full open lapping day at Palmer Motorsports Park. You can find more about lapping day here, https://www.palmermo....aspx?id=div6_0It will be my first time at this track so I would not be able to field your questions. However, in the interest of getting more of us to join and have fun, please post your questions and I will try my best to send them to the track organizer, David Connelly.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">During the process of my registration, I've asked for a group discount. David is able to provide a $50 off coupon for each registrant.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">In regards to the requirements of running our S2000 on track, I was told that if you have either OEM hardtop or a rollbar, you are good to go.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">It would be nice to have some company at the track to close out the season (for me at least).

That said, it could be 83 degrees like it was one year in Nov when I went to LRP.
I am planning on doing the 9/30 event this Friday and although the weather does not look all that great it won't be snow !!. It will most likely be my last track day at Palmer as I plan to skip the later events with BMW.

I forgot to mention that I did the lapping day back in Sept on 9/3 and I had one of the best track days all year.
Low traffic, 5 hrs of track time (I ran outa fuel) and only 13 students in the novice run group.
Yeah, 70 degrees and free pizza at lunch....thats my kinda track day.

Why is David Connelly running the Palmer events
His Northeast Track Days organization is running their last event of the season at Palmer on 10/18 that I will be attending.
Unfortunately 10/28 is a bit too late in the season for me. I plan to be prepping the car for storage around that time. Hope you get a good turnout OP and enjoy Palmer. It is an excellent track along the lines of our other great NE tracks.
