I'm posting this up now so I don't forget the date!

Third Saturday of July is the tentative Solidarity Drive date. That's Saturday, July 15th.

SCDA Watkins Glen Track Day is already causing me grief! That would be Monday & Tuesday the 17th and 18th.

Wild thoughts in my head: Maybe the Champlain to Seneca Solidarity Rally. I have an idea on how to do that without much management on my part.

On Sunday as opposed to Saturday?

9:45 A.M. sharp departure from start location.

We are going to start at Northway Exit 28, Ticonderoga. That's at about milepost 94, a good 1 3/4 hours north of Albany. Meet at the Sunoco station, south on Route 9 around the corner from the blinking light just east of the exit.

One would think that planning 8 months in advance should be sufficient!

This morning I pulled the 2017 calendar out of my new issue of Classic Motorsports and proceeded to block out the dates for the Solidarity Drive and for the Watkins Glen SCDA event. AARGH! I see a major and perhaps insurmountable mid July conflict looming.
