Same goes for Skip Barber and other such programs
I was looking at the 3 day or 4 day program. I always loved WRC and would love to get out and mess around on a rally track. I'd like to do Skip Barber or another school eventually as well, I have a lot more research to pin down which would be best for me.

There are several groups that sponsor ice racing in upstate New York. Adirondacks, Finger Lakes and probably others. Since we're probably too late to buy the spiked tires, we'd have to enter in the street legal class. I'll need to take nancy's car, but first I need to figure out how to disable that stupid traction control button.

Here's a promo video from one of the clubs.

Dear Mr. Former News Editor,

As you know, some of us need to schedule our mundane lives well in advance. Northeast Track Days and SCDA are already losing out to my potential conflicts by not posting their schedules! Their only remaining hope is mid August!

But that means it's time for you to get into action and specify the Upstate track day dates. I think we need three, maybe four. Assuming SCDA at the Glen, that means you only need to identify two, three at most.

Ruling out VIR and New Jersey Motorsports Park due to roll bar issues - and ruling out some far distant tracks - and ruling out only the VSCCA vintage racing conflicts, these are the potential dates available to me. That's not to say I don't have conflicts with VDCA or VRG. Right now, today, early July looks bad with Solidarity Drive probably being pushed back to July 22 from July 15. Can you exercise your dictatorial powers and state the dates - or set up a poll?

Realizing that it's not "all about me", the ones with the ** are better for me than the others.

^^ SCDA has always posted their calendar much closer to the new year or in the new year. At least thanks to Greg we know when the July dates for Watkins Glen are. I expect NTD to also publish next year given they are a smaller operation. They may have an event at Club Motorsports though - I digress as is normal.

There seem to be slim pickings in July and that's probably a good thing given that we will have a busy month with the Drive for Levi and the SCDA event.

I am interested in the following events:
- April 14th at Lime Rock with NASA NE. Hopefully I will have the BRZ ready by then.
- May 20th and 21st - Chin at Palmer. I think I will sign up for both days. May have a clash with an Evo school (autocross related) I plan to do.If there is a clash, I will do one day.
- July 17th and 18th - SCDA at Watkins Glen
- August 25th and 26th - NASA at Lime Rock

In addition to the above I hope to do a few more events.

- April 29-30: Summit Point Motorsports Park; Summit Point, West Virginia

- May 27-28: Pocono Raceway; Long Pond, Pennsylvania
- June 23-25: Watkins Glen International; Watkins Glen, New York

I know, I know!

But if I don't get my schedule set now, I lose the dates. I wanted to go to VIR in April. Might have already lost that weekend due to a judicial appointment. Trying to keep the July dates for Watkins Glen, but Nancy is tugging me to Russia. I have to watch out! Not only do I lose the dates, but my racing / track day budget gets spent behind my back.

Last year I only got out twice with the S2000. I was desperate to find dates late in the season without success.
