Jeff - you should get it. I'll accompany you if we need to trailer it back.

Jean Argetsinger, founder of the International Motor Racing Research Center, died on Monday.

For those that did the Knapp winery tour at the Watkins Glen festivals, the IMRRC was the starting point.

50 degrees Fahrenheit here in Albany. Opened the windows of the house and letting the air in while streaming PWC from YouTube. I hope the rest of the season goes this way.

That reminds me, it is time we started thinking about a winter meet. The go-kart place is no longer open, so we'll just have to meet some place for lunch or a drink.

Which one would you prefer? Should we drive out to say Poughkeepsie to the K1 Speed there or should we just meet somewhere in the capital district? Post up and let me know. I'll start a thread too at some point today or tomorrow. We've been awfully quiet on here of late. I'm hoping its just the winter blues

so how'd everyone make out with the Noreaster? I woke up at the usual time and left to go to work thinking I'd shovel when I got home. Got about 2 inches of the nasty heavy stuff as well as the dense packed ice that the city plow deposited on the driveway. As I cleared that it started snowing. I just looked out and there seems to be about an inch or so on the ground. So I guess I'll be dancing with the shovel again soon.

Besides that inconvenience, the storm was fun as far as driving to and from work. Traffic was light and the snow tires finally saw their first real use this season.

Like an East German coming into the west in 1989, too many choices for me to make a decision. But I finally caved in and bought the Eastwood 135, on post holiday sale. I found it on my front porch Sunday night, as it apparently arrived over the weekend.

Lets face facts: It would be tough to run a 220 line to the garage, so I finally abandoned the idea of buying a 220 volt unit. My generator is probably too small as well, so it was time to bite the bullet on a 110 volt unit. I think I will find it handy for my small jobs and modifications. Maybe not so much for heavier stuff.

Need to find some shielding gas for MIG welding. Heavier stuff might be possible with flux coreI

As far as the Nor' easter is concerned, it was a nasty, nasty day - especially when Molly was begging for a walk!

Weather was pretty much a non event here in Rochester. That was fine with me! I could use about 3 days of sunshine though.
