I am definitely NOT a die hard apple fan. I hate what they are doing, first the flash thing now this issue with google and youtube. They are really annoying me trying to monopolize the market but doing it in MY OPINION an ass backwards way. Soon apple products will be severely limited because they will only be able to be used with apple like products and what will they do then? They can't be the best at EVERYTHING. Do they really thing this apple tv will be better than youtube? That being said I feel like I am stuck with the iphone because how I have everything setup with all my calendar alerts, itunes etc. Its just too much work for me to go changing that and I think that is what apple intended to do and kudos to them for that tactic. I am afraid to buy a mac book because I may need an apple service provider down the line to get online.

The flash thing, the youtube thing and my personal favorite how they tried to LEGALY prevent the US consumer from jailbreaking their device. Boy was I glad when they told apple to cut the shit on that one lol

apple has a great way of maintaining the heard. That's all that sets them apart IMHO. Yes there are cheap manufacturers of Android and Windows products out there but that is only because Google and Win do not restrict like apple does. for every apple product out there there is something out there that can either out do it or be just as good.

It's funny but one of the iphone's selling points is it's super large app store. Makes me remember when I would work for CompUSA back in the day and would see the tiny ass mac section of software compared to the much larger section of Win based software section. The two mac sales guys would always say "yeah there is more but do you really use all that stuff?" hmmm same can be said for that app store of theirs now lol

With all that said .. guys pre order all these devices to your hearts content. The economy could use some mindless spending right now.

so we made an agreement, i paid for her Iphone n her phone bills. n keep any other apple product out of my house.

beside, i owned iphone 3g back in the day, after i changed to Android i felt day n night diferents.
i love the Android for anything. so free to work on, download apps ,apps, movies.
even free online porns. or even download free porns.
also i can hit 15+ mb on my android~~ f""D Iphone less than 1 mb speed.

I couldnt agree more. It's funny but I was on the line yesterday at the tag office getting my florida plates and this guy with an iPhone was just having the most horrible time with it. Kept dropping calls and he wasn't getting emails. Just for the hell of it I took out both my phones to check and test and they had better results.

Let's face it ... no cell phone provider is perfect and neither is any phone. It all depends on what you like and where you are. Not to mention what you can live with. Verizon for example is horrible down in Fl. I have been doing side by side testing with Tmobile and so far Tmobile has yet to drop a call meanwhile Verizon does. Verizon (voice only) is king up north but once you hit the Carolinas ATT and Tmobile are better.

Anyway .. I can go on about this all day. Hell it keeps me employed lol

Verizon sucks in florida! holy crap. im switching over my work phone to AT&T b.c in FL i can drop every other call (on both my 4S & S3).

I have an S3 (work) & an iphone 4s. The 4S is a better phone & music device. S3 is the better internet device.

The funny thing is though everyone calls the 4S so dated; etc, but even the S3 isn't as smooth as the 4S. All the androids have these crazy processors but don't optimize their software for it.

I just don't understand why people hate on apple or android so much. It's a phone. Calling people "sheep" just makes you guys sound like a hater. for some reason it's cool it hate mainstream things

the reason apple is changing the plug and going to a smaller one is that a lot of the pins arent used anymore. they're old and outdated. i read an article on it a few months ago. they will make adaptors for the older devices.
