Due to a rash of spammers in the general for sale sections, the site admins have asked that we also follow similar formatting of threads for our own protection.

Note, I do not make the rules. These are site rules.

Location State must be in the thread title (NOT the subtitle). This rule is because viewing this forum in the IB app or on mobile devices doesn't show the secondary title line.

RULE #2
If you are selling MULTIPLE items.. Please make a "GARAGE SALE" thread

Proper way: "CA - Garage Sale - seats, exhaust, misc"

This is much easier, less threads, and people will click more to see your new updates out of curiosity.
You may also post your screen name in the title - "speedy bob - Garage Sale thread" for example.

RULE #5Pictures are required for all listings (some exceptions to this) and include a piece of paper with your screen name and date.

We will start locking threads, if its not in this format. This will make it a lot easier for buyers to identify.

I understand the formatting rules. Here is my question: I want to post a for sale thread for a 2008 part out I have. Is it ok to post pictures of the car in its entirety, and a picture of the Odometer and essentially tell people what few things are not for sale? For example, I'm keeping the entire drivetrain, rear subframe and suspension, and seats. The rest of the car is for sale. PM me for a price. Can I do that? Thanks1

That sounds reasonable. just include your location in title. and mention its full part out and have an exclusion list.
