Default Just test drove a RSX Type S....its fast!

The car is very...very fast...the salesman took it off the lot with me shotgun and he redlined it and drove it like he stole it...It had 33 miles on it....He actually hit 8500 rpm...and it still wanted to go higher...What is the fuel cutoff in the S2000?

The car sounds so smooth and sweet....Its even smoother and sweeter sounding than the S2000 and I love the sound of the S2000 at redline...

IVTEC works! There is torque EVERYWHERE!!!! They NEED to put IVTEC into the S2000 and NSX!!!

There is no wind noise in the car and he got it up to around 100 MPH up IH10.

The 6 disc indash CD changer with subwoofer and 6 speakers was awesome...not as much bass as I thought it would have but it sounds good for a stock system. The CD changer will play CD and CD-R discs!

I got to drive it back to the dealership and I hit redline many times and the engine sound is one of the best I have ever heard...The 6 speed manual is just as good as the one in the S2000 but there is no grinding in the 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 shift. The interior is way better than what is in the S2000...The car has so much in common with its S2000 brother...just think if ACura would have make it RWD.....

The car is very tight and solid and rides extremely well. The steering wheel is totally awesome its small and the leather feels nice on the wheel. Its even better than the S2000 steering wheel...the car goes where you point it and you can slide into turns. The leather seats feel real good and you do not slide around. They hold you in real tights. The automatic climate control system works perfect.

Its needs better tires....205/55VR16 are just too small...its needs some 225/45ZR17 and 17X7 or 8 rims....

All and all a awesome car for 23.1K....would make a excellent companion car to the S2000.

Dude, It's not that fast. I can say that the only thing it does better is cruise quietly. The S2000 gearshift is a little shorter, the steering a little quicker, the handling a little sharper, and the acceleration a little quicker. I can honestly say I'm pleased with the decision to go with a second S2000 and not the RSX. Don't get me wrong, the RSX is probably within 90% of the S2000 capability and 70% the cost, but it's not a better car.

Oops, it does have a better warranty

I think the new Civic Type-R (200HP) would be closer to S2000 then the new RSX. Civic is lighter and has same HP as the RSX Type-S. RSX Typr-R however is different story. (220HP)

I'll be test driving one later this morning. The things I've read have been very positive. I would like to have a garage filled with my W/R Stook & a Type R RSX. But that's not going to happen if the rumor's are correct that Type R won't be coming for a couple of years if at all. As far as the Type R Civic goes, I LOVE it but it's definately NOT coming Honda know's it'll steal sales from the RSX. I'll report my seat of the pants experience later today or tomorrow.

What's peepy?

Are they out all over? I haven't seen one yet. I guess I'll have to visit the dealer. The only thing I thought was cool from the pics I've seen so far is the interior. The body is just hideous. IMO

The RSX will is not RWD. So it'll never have as much potential as the S2000.

Is this guy for real? The RSX is not so fast, not so fast at all, if you think it is...you need to drive faster cars! Did that make sense? Hehe. I feel less intillegent just posting to this post, uh, did that make sense?

The RSX has about the same specs as a 5th Gen Prelude. Not nearly as fast as an S2000.
