tl001, those brix 2 look nice. how would they fit a tall drive 34 waist 175lbs?
You're about the same size as me and if the Ergo II's are super snug for me then those Brix II's will probably save you some money on a vasectomy

All bride seats are gonna be tight, so i guess its just up to which one you want to go with.

i reccomend sitting in some zeta 3's which are basically the same as artis/ artis navi, sitting in some zeta 3 type L's, and sitting in ergos and brix before buying.

good luck.

I love the look of the leather Bride PROs.

I just hate that they are bottom-mount (what the hell is up with that?).

I want seats that are lower than OEM, not higher!!

Very interesting thread guys whlist I try to find out which seats to buy !!
my objectives
1) reduce weight
2) slide about less on the track (I'm 6'2'"/34" waist but hard driving and sport cups sure make me slide around!) since my S2000 is essentially a track day car (but I drive to the track in it)

my issues:
- retain easy central central stowage use
- good/safe standard seat belt operation
and on that last point when I see the the female end of the buckle jammed between bucket and tunnel methinks that this is not good!

so I'm looking at more "open" Sparco roadsters for instance even though I'd prefer Recaaro SPGs or Sparco Revs (havn't found a trace of Bride in europe let alone here in France !!!)

any thoughts ??

if you want a light seat, buckets are much better then reclineable seats because they do not have the heavy reclining mechanism, more metal and heavier padding. the bolsters on reclineable seats can be good but bucket seats will give you all the bolster you'll need.

i recommend you sit in some different seats to see which ones you want.

03exlcoupe: I'm about the same as you, 32" waist / 175lbs. The BRIX II are super tight, some of friends do seem to think they're overly tight. However, I LOVE how they grab on to you through corners, that's what I was looking for. (previously had RECARO SRD in my prelude.)

I think it's really up to the individual on whether or not you think they're the right fit. If you ever have a chance to sit in one, you'll see what I mean.

Can't go wrong with BRIDE~

hi guys,

Please help me out here. I am 5-4 and about 120lbs so i'm not all that big. What seats would give me the up and down height adjustments (if any)? I dont want to be stuck with a seat that only lets my forehead be seen from outside.

I do have 2001 black leather OEM seats for sale or trade for a red one. The seats I have are flawless... no scratches.. no fades.. its was kept clean and condition very frequently..

thanks all
