Default Two S2000s are not always better than One

Congratulations to the new owner of my perfect, Silver S2000 in Upper Sandusky. Sold to a retired couple who will drive it much more than my schedule allowed. Having a perfect condition S2000 with low miles is a great thing but the problem is the anxiety of keeping it that way. I know way too many garage queens that are never driven, waxed 1000 times a year, slathered with leather protectant, and exist in perpetual fear of a door ding or rock chip. I kept my other, black S2000 with its " battle scars" and I have been having more fun than ever driving the car as it should be. I Hope it lasts until the new model comes out!!

I've had similar thoughts. Looks like you chose the fun option

Completely agree. Cars are meant to be driven. Enjoy your car! Any plans for the black one now that the silver is gone?

Nice. Gotta drive them like they were meant to be driven. You only live once!

So you DID end up selling it after all! That was a quick change of heart from my April inquiry. I do know where the car ended up. It's in good hands.

As for plans...changed all the fluids to bring it up to speed ( runs amazing now) and bought some new tires and brought alignment to spec ( thanks Thayer Honda!). I might do some minor paint correction. My friends are determined to find me a fun exhaust but for now, I Like being quiet and not being noticed. Lets see how long that lasts!

I had hoped to drive it more, my workload had other plans, lol. It went to a good home but I will always have my eye open and a garage space ready for an additional AP1 if it falls from heaven!
