Default Mr. Gibbs Turbo S2k Build

Here at Humble Performance , we are now working on yet another S2000.

This one is going to be using the turbo Kit from P-PO's Daily Driven S2k. As soon as the kit shos up I will throw pics of it up and the build process.

Just wanted to let you guys know about yet another S2K By Humble Performance.

This is the 5 th for the shop !!

The Manifold , Intercooler piping , Down pipie , Dump tube.

I'll have pics of the Twin Disc a bit later on today.

Waiting on a few more parts to be odered up and this will be going together. This will be a bolt on Turbo setup. Jared is still going to be driving this everyday so he is gonna have a bigger smile on his face everyday!

^--- that's fine and I think the turbo kit is really nice but,

Aem series 2 uses all factory sensors so u don't need that modifry ect fix. The coolant gauge works like oem with aem now. Only 1052 and 1052u users need the ect fix.

An aem serial gauge does 19 functions including boost and afr. Get 2 of those and you can monitor everything instead of just 2 things. This isn't a greddy kit so I'd like to see every parameter

Aem has built in boost control. You can set the boost by the mph, or gear, whatever u want if u buy the solenoid. This feature is in the software so I'm guessing u havnt fully learned the software (I havnt even opened my aem box so I don't either) a greddy boost controller works but is another uneeded part, it's much more expensive than the solenoid from aem and u have to mount that greddy box somewhere and it's not plug and play.

I'm not trying to rain on the day but who didn't do their homework? Ill take my car down south to be tuned.

If u have aem ems 1, the coolant gauge does work, as an indicator light

The gauge piece was ordered before the New EMS was out and ordered.

Yes AEM has a built in boost controller , We choose to use what we like and settings we know work very well. Just because you read the manual and forums doesn't mean that's the only way to go about things.

You do know were AEM EMS Certified correct? We have done a lot more then you have any idea about , please understand that. Are lead mechanic has built the fastest S2k in the world are you doubting his ability? I am very positive he knows what he is doing.

If you know so much about things and are telling us what we should do or know why aren't you the one tuning your own car?

When you take your car down south and get tuned we Look Forward to hearing how that comes out for you in power and cost.

Good Luck in your Turbo S2k Project, Now Back to Mr. Gibbs Build
