It sounds like some of you up there in OK have some pretty sweet rides. If you're interested in a cool get together check out the event we're having down here in North Texas (damn near Southern OK!) on May 14th.

We're talking FREE BBQ, event T-Shirts, many raffle items and a group drive in the morning. It looks like JulieU already found us on the North Texas forum. It would be great to see a bunch of you guys come down as a group. We're expecting over 50 cars from all over Texas and the surrounding states!

Check out the details here

Mark Wimmer
Tulsa, OK

2002 Spa Yellow S2000

Not too many mods.
SS Brake lines w/high temp fluid
Rick's X-brace
Rick's leather shift boot

We should organize a drive some time. We used to do them almost every weekend when I lived in Austin and I miss them. Unfortunately we have to drive several hours to find the type of roads we had just outside of town down there.

Hmm, a drive... good idea! I'm in! ... but maybe not every weekend, but at least once a month. I know Joe (wu01ok) and Rob (lurks on here - I don't know his username, but he has an '02 Spa with hardtop) would probably be interested, too. Rob might be able to recommend an area not too far outside of Tulsa.

traction. I'm thinking of roasting my tires off at the next autox. the unlimited run one.

I'd like to see everyone there 40 bucks though but you can have another driver. 20 each for two drivers, i'll post a link in a bit

Oh yeah and i wish when i was 18 or 20 i had a job to pay for an s2000 and thousands of dollars worth of mods...HMMMMMM
Hey silver,
I agree with you. We have a huge group up here in the Nashville area. I bought my S2000 at Joe Marina in Tulsa two years ago and I am going over 55K miles. My age is getting up there and it is tight just to make the car payment and insurance payment AND the outrageous gas prices here. Gas for the car is running $2.45 a gallon here in Kentucky.
