Volunteer offer/feel-out
The lady who runs the Flashback Cruz here in Bend has approached me to see if any of the S2k guys would be interested in volunteering to help with the 2016 classic car show.
Several of their club members are ill/hospitalized (they're getting on in years) and will likely not be able to help when the time comes.
This would be strictly a volunteer position with no pay, but she offered to mark off a section in the park where we could park our cars, show them off, talk with people, etc.
The event is August 12-14 (Fri - Sun) and would require some early mornings - 5am start times
She would need people all three days for setup, breakdown and assistance in other areas, guiding cars to locations and so forth. During the downtimes, you would be able to wander through the show, check out cars, talk to the owners.
Would anybody be interested? This is the largest classic car show this side of the mountains, it typically maxes out the city occupancy limit of 400 cars in the park.
