I am in desperate need of help to get my s up and running. The problem it has is that it bogs and backfires thru the intake when I hit the gas. I changed the injectors and fuel pump and checked the timing n it looks good to me. Anyone experience willing to come check it out? Im in Kissimmee and any help would greatly be appreciated

Did it just start doing it out of the blue ot did it start to do it after u changed something. To me usually if it is backfiring through the intake it sounds like timing is off

the car sat for about 6 months and then I went to take it for a spin n then it started doin that

Maybe bad gas or water got in the gas then. U check the plugs to see what they look like

6 months sitting without stabil or another additive to combat moisture will equal bad gas as Nick stated.

new plugs and coil packs. so should I drain the gas and put fresh gas in or can I just add an additive?

how much is in the tank? If its low i would just add in fresh 93. If its full drain it.

Id put some gas in it and then also go to the auto store and buy a container of dry gas its called put that in there and should get some of the water or bad stuff out if that is the problem

found the problem, one of the fuel pump seals were dry rot
