Default Auto Shipping Companies

I shipped my S2000 from Hawaii to Maryland via the military. Since I was stationed out there they pay for one vehicle to your new duty location.

So I shipped my BMW M235i to Seattle. Im looking for a transport company to take it to Maryland. Any recommendations? I went to a website and received a quote and was flooded with emails from shipping companies. Seems like all the companies are just booking agents and the drivers are contracted through them.

I've used two companies so far. DAS with an open trailer from Seattle to AZ and it was cheap and went fairly well. I used Intercity to transport a car from Boston to Seattle. Pricey but top shelf.

Good experiences with both.

Thanks for the input.

Im ok with open transport if the worst that will happen is a dirty automobile.

In all fairness I wasn't sending a hoonmobile/doughnut monster like an M235 - it was a Lexus ES300 when using DAS.

It arrived safe and sound and only slightly dirty.

The Intercity truck was lined with wood and had a full on detailers supply inside the trailer. Very cool.

So for some reason thought you meant Interbay instead of Intercity when I googled it lol. Any how they had good Yelp reviews and are local to WA so I booked through them. Open transport but my car was the first loaded and it was on top. Employees were friendly to deal with. Should be in MD next week.
