Ordered SOS hood dampers today. Woot!

After having lovely factory hood dampers on my German cars, it will be nice to have them on the S2k too. They will give a nice arc too - allowing work in the engine bay to be much easier. Looking forward to that.

Almost ordered a set of those dampers last fall. Ended up getting a carbon fiber cooling plate instead. Those dampers look like they make working in the engine bay a LOT easier, that's for sure.

Now that I mention it, I guess I have to install that cooling plate this summer. Car should be out of storage in the next week or two. Bummer I'm missing the nice weather this weekend but the roads are still pretty chewed up (and a lot still have gravel on them) so probably still for the best...

Those SOS dampers are REALLY NICE. I bought a set when they had a GB a couple of summers ago.

S2000:
Replaced soft top with Ez-ON Top
Install Cusco x bride Zeta 3 seat.
Looking to order a Cusco 3D Carbon Gt wing and some new shoes for the car.
Possibly close to the end of summer order full spoon kit.

98 Civic:
Install OEM P/DL, P/W harnesses and hardware.
Install 99-00 civic interior dash w/ proper blower motor.
Install Rear disc brakes with GSR brake master cylinder, booster, prop valve.
Also if funds permit it some form of motor swap.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Or sell the civic and buy a evo 5 as a winter car. =P

For those that want *really* sticky tires, I definitely recommend the Dunlop ZIIs. They are happy on cold pavement (+2 degrees at one event), and the 200 tread wear rating seems to be an understatement if anything.

Threw the Bilstein shocks on my Chevy pickup yesterday. Talk about a difference! I can actually hit a bump without knocking my fillings loose now.

The worn shocks were so bad that I could easily compress both of them with my hands in less than a second. There was basically zero resistance.

Finally installed my Password JDM cooling plate. The holes for the 5 main bolts were too small so I had to dremel them to get it to fit. Otherwise, went pretty easily.
