Removing Side Emblems
What is the best and safest way to remove the S2000 side emblems without causing any paint damage?

There are many links and Youtube videos about this, just do a Google search.
Good luck.

I had my body shop replace the stock side emblems with some black chrome side emblems when they had my car to respray the front lip. Unfortunately they screwed it up and affixed the new emblems in the wrong spot - too far back from the side light. Drives me crazy. So I am going to redo it myself. I'm hopeful since they were just put on they might come off a little easier than otherwise would be the case. Wishful thinking.

Since we do have this thread here I should say that you were correct after doing some searching I found good information and I discovered a tool that helps lot with removing the glue residue quickly and easily without damage to the paint finish. The tool is here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. If you search on you tube you will find videos showing this tool in action. Also, this adhesive remover is highly recommended - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
This process works quickly and well for glued on emblems: 1. warm up the emblem with hair dryer or heat gun (careful not too hot). 2. Remove emblem by drawing dental floss or fishing line between the emblem and the paint to pop it off. 3. Use the eraser tool (see above) to remove most of the residue and then the adhesive remover (see above) to remove any small amount of adhesive remaining. 4. Clean and wax area. If you are replacing the emblem don't wax the area until after the new emblem is attached.

Ok... next step in the process, how to affix your new emblem? I have the red JDM Honda emblems for the front and back to apply to my MY07 Berlina (doing the black/red thing for a Type S look). What's the best adhesive to affix the emblems?
