Hks vs fortune

I got 510's and they are great with the Swift spring upgrade. I have tracked and autox'd and they handle very well but I am also not slammed either just lowered. I went with 7k dampening and 11K springs. If I were to do it again and I would go with 11k or 12k dampening and 14k springs and that is due to the oscillation from the springs on a bridge or bumpy back road because I bounce around and it can be dangerous but at the track and autox they are amazing due to the stiffer springs.

Nothing wrong with HKS or fortune but we love our Stance Suspension and before I worked here I was running stance since 2013. When I used to street drive the car they were comfy. Now that I've gone full time attack car they are competitive (record setting even).

Simply put, they weren't up-to-par with stock suspension for me. I had 10K springs all around with 12K valving(as recommended by THMotorsports and various forum members in the brakes and suspension forum), but they handled irregularities in the road rather poorly. They are taiwanese/chinese components after all, even though they are assembled in the USA. Maybe the 510's are better, but at that price point, I'd go with HKS SP's simply due to their experience/presence in the market.

I'd recommend saving a little more and getting something nicer. The s2k deserves it, especially if you're going to track the car. The stock OE suspension on the S is phenomenal, and you're not going to gain anything by slapping a cheap set of coilovers on it.

I also have the 510 and they're crazy stiff and ride perfectly for me.

I was on the fence between HKS and FA. I ended up with a set of HKS hipermax GT's. Read tons about both and got a lot of mixed reviews on the FA while the HKS got mostly positive views. I went to a track day and one of the instructors told me not to waste my money on Fortune Auto's
As far as the difference between the GT's and SP's both are fine for daily/track duties but the SP's are "more" suited for the track.

I contemplated waiting for the release of the Greddy KW's but didn't want to wait and have no reviews out there. And apparently they were rebranded ST coilovers.
