S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Default 2008 CR Delete #405

Hey guys, after a couple of months I found my CR! I purchased this car from a fellow S2KI member and I couldn't have asked for a better transaction (he can chime in if he wants). The car is immaculate with 7200 miles or so. The only thing it could use is a paint correction as there are some light swirl marks, but nothing major. I flew out from SoCal to Austin TX to pick her up, then drove her to my friend's garage in Houston (about 3 hours) where the transport will be picking her up. This was my first time driving a CR and I must say it's amazing! It's been about 12 years since I last drove an S2000 and boy do I miss it! Here are some pictures of my trip and I'm excited to be part of the CR community.

When I first saw her, in the seller's garage

All masked up and ready for the drive from Austin -> Houston

Side shot (excuse the poor tape job, this was my first time doing this!)

Booty shot

Made it to my friend's place (Alara Garage)

And here are some random photos of other cool cars at the garage:

Wife posing in an S600, painted in a color similar to Championship White

Look at that beautiful red interior!

I think my friend said this was a Honda Z600?

A couple of clean CRX Si's

Another shot

Not a Honda, but this is a rare first MY Toyota MR2 (S/C)

Twin Turbo RX-7, Z8 and what do you see in the corner?

Zanardi #7, 37k miles and signed by Alex, himself!

And you can't forget about this Miata, it only has 200 miles!

Mexico blue Porsche, yes please!

Ferrari F328

Countach!

I forgot what this was, but it was cool!

MONEY SHOT

P-cars

Hey look, an American car!

911 GT3 RS receiving a full clear wrap

Wife next to an Aventador.

I think this a Diablo, right?

I forgot what these were, but they were pretty cool and rare

F360 Modena Race car

Ferrari getting engine work

I can't remember what this was, but it was cool

Ferrari engine

More engine work

That's it, I'll add more photos when she arrives from Houston. Thanks for looking!

Congrats on the CR

But damn, that is one crazy collection. And to add a few things...

Yes, that's a Honda Z600. My local dealer in Tallahassee had one in the same color.
That 308 though, I'll take the ITR but my dad would love the 308
I have yet to talk to a guy down the street about his Zanardi to see its mileage or production number, cool find
I'm not a Miata fan at all, but wow only 200 miles. Rare, but also kinda pointless (to me)
The white car I believe is a Morgan Aero 8
Yes, that black Lambo is a Diablo. Looks like a Diablo VT to be specific
Looks to be a Renault 5 Turbo (forget the older looking one)
That blue one is a Jaguar XJ220, definitely a rare bird there

Anyway, enjoy the CR. Seems you got a good one

Apex blue is such beautiful color!

Are you planning on regularly driving it?

I was in the car collecting game and I just dont get it. It's hard to really appreciate and drive more than just a couple cars at a time.

I'd say you missed out on a perfect 1400 mile road trip.
