S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Default Adding a/c to a delete?

Was wonder what all I would have to do to add a/c to a delete model Cr. It's just something I've always wondered.

Anyone know what was "deleted?" A buddy bought a car where the AC had been removed by a previous owner but all that was missing was the under hood parts including the compressor, radiator, etc. All easy to get to. And the parts were easy to source off Ebay. The under the dash unit was there and that may be the difficult piece to find or fit ('cuz guys don't remove it unless they gut the interior) but we didn't look for it.

A "Delete" CR basically has no a/c system and no radio unit which provides a significant weight savings. As to adding a a/c system to a delete CR........personally I think it would be a big mistake if you are concerned about maintaining it's originality/collectability.

It was just a curious question, don't think I can talk myself into it bc I really want to bring all back to stock.
