CR Hardtop

CR Hardtop
My hardtop has 3 dime size or smaller dings. I had PDR on my car yesterday and we found that in order to access those hardtop dings the headliner and foam had to be removed.
Has any one had that removed by a upholster shop and had it reinstalled?
The second option is using and glue stick and pulling them out. The downside is that the aluminum is stiffer and harder to work than a steel panel. The paint may also release since it takes more pulls. I have original paint and wondering whether to live with it or try to fix it. My top is off 90 percent of the time[attachment=95454:IMG_1329.jpg]

Yes I have, I had one dime size dent. I had this repaired through paintless dent repair. He also advised the lining would have to be peeled back. It's a vinyl so it wasn't too big of a deal. Just remove the rubber molding then peel the vinyl, insert their tool.
Just remind him that the hardtop is aluminum! Because of how soft it is, they have to be very gentle with any repairs.

The dings are right above the rear window, so that would not be much to peel back, do you glue the headliner back to the foam?
