S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Can anyone tell me what's unique about the CR Outer Door Handle? I see it's listed as a specific CR part in the FAQ.

Other than the color for the ABP door handle I don't know the reason.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

What's the average price these days for a pair of seats in good condition?

Looks like I may need a CR dead pedal - is there any difference or I can just buy one new from dealer from a regular car.

I believe the base S2000 and the CR dead pedal are the same, but I'll have to check in the morning to verify.

They are in fact identical, for comparison I looked at '07 S2000 and a '08 CR.

I sold my CR 2 years ago and was cleaning out my garage and found the OEM car cover. It is the outdoor type "block it" material and is CR specific with room for the wing and from lip.

Any idea on what these sell for? I am looking to post it soon. It is in good shape, with no tears and only (1) bird turd stain.

Thanks for the input.

Please PM me a picture of the cover and turd. I might be interested. Price wise, I've seen them go for $50 - $150 depending on how much the seller cares.

Cool CR original OEM springs & new OEM shocks

I will be having after-market suspension installed in my 2008 CR early in March. My mechanic said he will be removing the stock springs and shocks as units, one unit for each corner of the car. This should make it easier for someone to install them on another S2000, whether it is a CR or not, according to him.
My car has 70,000 miles on it, most of which was as my daily driver until two years ago, when I began using it primariy for driving to and from tracks and for HPDE track days. Last year before our track days began, I replaced the original shocks with new OEM shocks. What a difference! These shocks have been used for 12 track days last year and other mileage going to and from the tracks, almost no driving around town.
What would be a reasonable range of pricing for these suspension units?
I am a premium S2KI member and plan to post them for sale once I have them in hand and can include photos.
Thanks to any of you who have thoughts on this inquiry.
