S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

How far did you go for your CR?

My dad tried really hard to convince me to pick up the Rio. I saw it once and I was like damn that's hot. Then I realized my friend's phoenix yellow ITR hardly gets driven and I knew I made the right choice.

I looked at a Rio prior to the APB. The dealership really put the hard sell on to get me to buy it, but I just couldn't stop thinking about the color. That and the idea that I would have to stop at all railroad crossings from now on! I apologize perfusely to those of you with Rio's for that last comment!

Flew to Ohio and drove her back to Florida with 750 miles on the odo. About 1200 miles.

I casually searched for months looking at CR's trying to decide between ABP or BB, assuming that a GPW would just be impossible to find. I had an 06 BB which I loved, but as all of you know is a nightmare to keep looking mint. After months of watching online, a like new GPW CR came up in WV with only 1800 original miles, 1000 of which were from the previous owner driving to their new home. I drove all the way from Bangor, Maine to Parkersburg, WV to trade my 06 BB for the GPW CR. All told it was about 2500 miles round trip and worth every bit!

Found mines on autotrader and was on the verge of giving up to get a BB. Funny how the GPW came up on the "ALL" instead of the "White" only search. Flew from San Francisco to San Diego after work and finalized all the financial side until 10pm. End up staying at the manager's vineyard for the night before my morning trip back to the Bay

Mine was in Willsonvile Oregon so it was about a 460 mile round trip from Seattle. When i picked it up it had 1100 miles on it and the previous owner had traded it in for a lotus exige. Here is a link to a video my friend made about our trip down all shot by my friend on his cell phone lol.

Mine was approx 1100 miles away. I flew from Orlando to NJ, bought the car, taped it up and drove it back to FL. It took me 2.5 months of research and negotiations to find my CR got it from a honda dealership, a guy lost his job and had to sell his toys. I wanted GPW but got the Rio since it only had 1002 miles on it.
