Powder coat match for CR wheels
#11
I would try this site for trying to color match, you will need to probably send them a spray "test card" of Honda/Acura Kaiser Silver metallic (NH546M). Personally i would just repaint the wheels in the OEM color and add two or three coats of clear.

Some tips when powder coating:
- Make sure the hub is masked off before powdercoating otherwise it'll be extremely hard to mount!
- Some shops apply thicker coats than others so it may be hard for you to reapply your center caps without force
- Be careful when remounting your wheels, most shops don't mask the surface area that your lug seats on to and the powder will crack the first time, go easy as to contain the cracking to only the lug. Ask your vendor if they can mask the lug nut holes too, that would be ideal
Additionally, since they bake the wheels to an extremely high temperature, there have been lots of discussion about the baking process weakening the structure of the wheel, especially if it's been done multiple times. I've powder coated many OEM NSX forged wheels with no issues, I'm not sure how strong the cast iron wheels are on the CR.
Edit: LOL didn't know this was an old thread, whoops
