new gaugeART CAN Gauge for AEM EMS, AEM Infinity, Hondata KPRO4, etc
#14
Digital input channels are not supported on kpro4? For example afr, temp or pressures from a plx device.

I beleive he is referring to a scenario where he is using plx sensor modules, and has them daisy chained together into the kpro4 via the digital input.
will the gaugeart display parameters sent to the kpro4 through the digital input pin?

The gaugeART CAN Gauge can display any channel that is being broadcasted by the KPRO. So, if you have an input in to the KPRO that is in the CAN broadcast listed above, you can display this. However, sensor modules should be unnecessary with the KPRO4. It has 8 analog inputs that can be used directly with sensors. There is no reason to have additional sensor modules.

I'm using the TTL serial input on the kpro4 board and with just this wire connected I can have multiple (I think 8) digital inputs available.
Less wiring and no voltage offset problems.
Looks like these digital inputs are not broadcast on the CAN output but I guess Hondata are the ones to ask about on this matter.
Thanks for the answers
