Built motor guys; Rod & Main Clearances
Just as the title says, for those with built motors, what are you all using for your main and rod bearing clearances?

Probably the same clearances as OEM specs.

^you mean he went with the .001" extra.
Adam,
use ACL Race bearings. waaaaaaay more heat treating than oem, layered materials, and you can get them in oem specs for clearance.
Rods:4B1912H std clearance- 25
Mains:5M1913H std clearance- 25
Thrust:1T1957
if you've ever looked at the end of the crank/top of the block assembly, you would see that letters pertaining to each bearing spec. and unlike motors of the old days(B, D, H) they dont vary a bunch. there may be one out of the group that is different. so uniform ACL's are perfect.
this is my opinion.

thats ghey. clevite is generic autozone kind of stuff....
how did inline pro know what size your mains needed to be? did you give them the letters that were stamped into the bottom of the girdle?
there are about 7 different sizes.

Thats what I called and ask them, they said they gave me the "middle of the road" bearings similar to the ACL's.
I'll need to plasti-gauge them when I get home, I'm not sure what the clearances are for the ACL's, what they are equal to in regards to the OEM's.
Anyone know?
I am on vacation this week, or I'd look into it myself. Sorta why I made this post..so when I get home, I can finally get this POS back together.
Appreciate all the help guys.

I ordered ACL, but inline said they are on national back order, so they sent me Clevite for the rods , and OEM for the mains.
i would have just told them to keep that stuff and ordered a set of ACL Race bearings from an ebay seller. there are a bunch for the f20/22 online as i type...
what about the thrust?
