OK, here is THE question. If I acquired a stock S2 and wanted to implement your mods piece by piece what would the total cost of parts be?

If Im doing a build and want to stay stock sleeve with 200K miles on the car what all would I need to do to make sure the block and sleeves are ok?

compression and leak down test, if that checks out I would upgrade the valvetrain, at 200k things prob have lost some of their strength

I really candy give you a number but if you add up the large parts you will be well over 20k.

Compression test is the most telling for the condition of the bottom end as a screening tool. If everything looks good there and it has been well maintained then it should do pretty well.

On ethanol you will need dual pumps for sure to achieve that horsepower using a dual hanger system.
