how much power were u making before? What k ind of rods were u useing? Why do you think the valve droped?

I was making 816 hp 591 ft/lbs and was running Inline Pro rods. That bottom end never gave me any trouble and I ran it for a few seasons at high power levels. There have been a few cases of the Supertech valves failing which they are well aware of, I have heard of a well known shop going through at least 2 motors because of it.

Been busy guys I sent the block to Inline Pro to see if the sleeves are still useful, I will keep you updated!

lol bet those Rubbermade designers never figured anyone would ship an engine block on one of their plastic bins haha.

which valves are you switching too when you rebuild the head ?

on a side note, the top of that piston reminds me of

Haha, I had to purchase the container just to ship my block too. I am switching to Ferrea valves this time around.

Did you send the block off just to see if the sleeves are ok, or is it getting honed by them too?
