S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Hmm this looks familiar... Neeman77 rebuild thread!

This is painful to look at. I sent you a PM, but Inhave Supertech stuff and this is a tad bit concerning. Is this a common problem with Supertech stuff or is there a certain power # that's too much for them? I make about 150lb/ft less torque than you and like 250 less HP but am now a little worried considering how much I took/plan on tracking my car.....I still have stock redline, not sure if that helps with the longevity of the valves or not?

Thanks and good luck on the rebuild

Sent it away to potentially be built if everything was still good!

Hey Joey,
Apparently it is not uncommon with their valves, but the springs and retainers have no issue at all. I am not sure of power that induces failure but from what I understand the engines this reputable shop lost to these valves it was >750hp in all cases. Will send you a PM.

Subscribed....I also have a Supertech valve train. But not nearly making any kind of power you're at. Good luck on the rebuild.

Damn i just bought Supertech valve train also. Do you think they failed because of too much power? I'm only making 560hp/405tq. Do you think they will be fine at this power level?

I put new OEM springs and retainers, I have the Supertech valves with the Inconel exhuast valves. Hope it all stays together

LJ had mentioned that the supertrch stuff starts to fail in the mid 700whp range and up. I would run Ferrea if I was at 800whp thats for sure.
