Default Just dynoed my new ptuning gtx3076r setup. Down sized from a gtx35r

Just got back from the dyno again. New setup is a ptuning turbo kit with the gtx3076r. Old setup was a trackforged manifold with a garrett gtx 3576r. New setup made 425whp 293tq on 91 octane at 13psi and 588whp 419tq on e85 at 20psi. I lost about 25whp on pump gas and 35whp on e85 from the trackforged gtx3576r setup but i gained about 300 rpm of spool and a lot petter boost response.

Full engine mods are

stock block f20c with 127,000 miles turboed since 80,000 miles
head has suptech duel springs, titainum retainers, .5mm over sized exhast valves with stock intake valves with valve job from portflow
science of speed carbon twin disc clutch system
Injector dynamic 1300cc incectors with pnp clips injectors were at 93% duty cycle on the 588whp e85 map.
walbro 450 e85 pump with sos wiring kit
AEM series 2 with flex fuel sensor and flex fuel tune
puddy mod stage 3 diff with 3.9 final drive

Ptuning turbo kit with garrett gtx3076r .82 ar tial exhaust housing
Ptuning oil cooler kit
ptunning soft yellow motor mount insert
tial q bov and turbo smart 45mm wastegate
custom made intercooler piping and custom made garrett core 24x3.5x12 intercooler
open dupe tube with full custom 3" exhaust with 2 vibrant resonators and a hks carbon TI muffler

Nice! 425whp on 91 is not bad man. I miss my s/c =(

I heard ptuning might redo kits for our cars with some minor changes to lower price some. Wonder if they will go through with it. PTuning kit seems to be a win win...

Very nice bud!

I didn't know you were changing setups... why the change? ...why 3076 over 3576?

... anyway...great numbers! Let us know how this kit compares to your old kit...

IMO, the 3076 is the ideal size turbo for the streets/highways. One can also argue, that the 3071 can give it a run for it's money as well as a (street setup). Gotta love that quick spool. However, the 3071 will run out of top end sooner than the 3076. Both are great for a nice peppy street setup.

Don't get me wrong, the 3576 is great as well, but for the streets, imo, it can be somewhat of an overkill in our cars. Ultimately, I suppose it's dependent on what your actual goal(s) are.

Can OP or someone explain this to me real quick.

To me the old chart looks better then the new, is the new setup more responsive for street use?

Why the change to Ptuning? You have been a detractor of the kit due to engine mount vibration. I ran the yellow mount with the kit and found the vibration not bad at all once underway cruising.

The worst part of the ptuning kit in my opinion is still the compermise you have to make with noise and vibration due to there motor mount. But the softest yellow insert is livable. The other inserts are horrible and vibrate the car like crazy. But other than that the kit is ideal because of the low engine bay heat from the turbo placement. Also the spool is quick from the sort runners of the manifold and the power is good due to having a proper 4-1 merge collector. Because of this the ptuning kit is track able on a race track unlike my old kit which would melt everything in the engine bay if I attempt to track my car even though there was heat wrap and heat shields on everything.

Boost is starting to build up really quick. Nice man!
10psi @ 4400rpm is some quick spooling.

Did the gtx35 spool much slower than that?

i always wondered why the SOS kit can't utilize a manifold like this one to up the power at redline. I know the twin scroll manifold they use has some quick spool ups, but i can't even find a dyno sheet with the gt3582 they offer on pump gas pulling 400whp on 91/93 oct...

PTuning really seems to have a nice kit.

The spool up of the gtx3576r was about 300 rpm slower. So not too much. But the off boost response from the gtx3076r is a good amount better.
