However not quite the same set ups, but here's SOS kit and a Kraftwerks kit on the same dyno

SOS S2000- Spoon header, test pipe and stock exhaust 14.2psi peak (Blue)

Kraftwerks S2000- Skunk2 header, LHT exhaust 13.7 psi peak (Red )

Was the SOS kit using the novo 1220?

The SOS kit was using the 1220. I think the Kraftwerks will still make more power being identical setups. At these power levels, an exhaust is only worth around 20whp on an S2000.

This is NOT a dyno from the new KW kit. ...as said before, it is from an S2KI member with the original KW kit and the C30-94 with a 90mm drive pulley...which is why it netted 12psi.

100% Correct - Thank you for clearing this up! There was a miss-communication as to which one ET had posted on their dyno-database.

Evans FB with Dyno ← Here is a link to ET's Facebook show their dyno of the KW kit as a reference back from April I believe just before their S2000 Meet.

To add to the link, this was the email from Gary @ Evans Tuning sent as we received the information on the installation and tune:

"Hi just wanted to share with you that we got your new supercharger kit installed on an AP1 s2000. Installation went fairly smooth and had an overall very good fit and finish. Ended up making 403hp and 235 tq. The customer will be coming to our s2000 meet on May 17th. We have 60 cars registered so far so should be a very good day to market your kit. I have attached some pics of the install and dyno graph for you to use.

slightly OT, sorry, but since most of the KW guys are in here - what plugs & gap are you all using?
The recommended plugs are the NGK BKR7EIX-11 Iridium IX Spark Plug for most of the Honda/Acura platforms, but if you are already having to use a colder plug with your specific car we recommend one step colder and gapped down in the Mid to high 30's.

S2000's are particularly finicky sometimes but generally the above recommendation is a good rule of thumb.
Forgot to add this in after I heard back from Skunk 2...

CJ from Skunk2 recommended 8's at a minmum, and said he runs NGK Iridium 9's on his KW Civic Si. He also said gap them to 0.035".

I just ordered NGK 5068 / IFR8H-11. We'll see how those do.

Anyone running one of the ver 2 kits care to chime in with exactly what plugs/gap you're running?

I misunderstood his email previously. The correct plug would be BKR8EIX, stock # 2668.

Embarrassing - I hadn't realized the name of the plug was Iridium IX, and thought when you and CJ said "9" you were talking about the temp. WRONG!!!

I'll be ordering the BKR8EIX-11 tomorrow, NGK #2668.

So you guys have an overlay of the old C30 kit versus this new C38 one on the same Skunk2 dyno? I assume this would be very easy to produce.

Nice comparison dyno. I bet if the sos was using the 1200 blower it would be making more than the kraftwerks kit. At least up top.

The SOS kit was right on Par with what the 1220 claims. I have some dynos from 1200 kits that made a little more. I will have to dig them up. I think the Kraftwerks Supercharger kit. We have installed 5 KW kits and 10 SOS kits.
