Novi 1200 blown after 15k miles

For what it's worth. Since my novi 1000 can no longer be rebuilt by Paxton i got it rebuilt by Jon bond. Great to deal with , fast and so far nothing wrong with it after 2 years and a few track days.

Previous owner and myself were running a Synapse synchronic bov by itself on 3.2" and 3.4" pulleys respectively. I'm now running the same + bosch BPV, as it would surge above 5k rpms on the 3.4" pulley.
The oil was getting sucked into the intake and burned out the exhaust. My GPW bumper was effectively Berlina black lol.
I'm attributing the failure to the blower because oil was found in the intake near the impeller, I'm venting my crankcase via dual catch can and after removal of the blower, the engine (which has 5k miles on it now) is no longer burning any oil at all.
That sucks to hear about 928. Needing a second rebuild would be highly annoying, but thanks for the heads up.

Also, in regards to the oil pressure gauge location, it's at the stock location. This drop in pressure was not normal, I've been running the gauge and supercharger for about 4k miles before this incident occurred. I'm very familiar with normal operation and readings of my car currently.

Yeah, unfortunately I too recall all of the problems that 928 rebuild users were having at one point. I didn't even know they were still around doing it. Maybe they've changed their practices/parts/whatever since then. Hope for the best, man.

Oh man that sucks! On a new short block too?! So was it the blower seals that went and caused your new engine to run dry of oil, or was it your engine all along? chicken or the egg?
