Hey Bfresh - I am so happy that I found this thread. I'm literally in the exact same boat as you and have been trying to decide between stage 1 and stage 2. This will be my third full year with the car (2006 - bone stock) and I've decided it's time to have some fun with it. Supercharging seems to be the move. Of course, the sensible side of me wants to go stage 1 (for cost reasons and I only drive the car about 2,000 miles each year) but the devil on my other shoulder keeps saying stage 2 and go balls out! Stage 2 is likely the direction I will go.

I'm excited to hear when you pull the trigger and to hear how you like it!

Rock on,
Nick

Stage 1 is noticeable, mostly above 6k. Its roughly 300whp but its not making that across the whole rpm range, just at the very peak, and is a progression of power up to that from across the rpms. So it more or less just wets your pallet for more. Stage 2 is a general term. I think sos has that stage listed at 9psi, but really at that stage you have invested financially to run more boost then this. 9-10psi/350whp+ is right when this car really starts to wake up and feel pretty exciting and proper. So if your going to invest in a stage 2, consider there is quite a bit more still left on the table you can go from there. Just make sure you have a good tuner who knows the car and set up. You can feasibly max out the blower at 18psi with E85 or back off a little at 14-15psi on 92/93 pump. 91 pump generally around 12psi with this set up.

Stage 2 is the cheapest option in the long run
