This just proves boosting is no easy feat. Im scared to slap on my kit on 91 gas because i know sooner or later im gonna run into fuel pressure issues, clutch slippage/breakage, ring failure, engine rebuild, etc. But all in the name of good fun.
Keep us updated love seeing builds like this. Btw where r u located?
Thanks man I put a lots of time and money into this project, it's never ending but tons of fun when it's running good. Had may problems getting them all worked out I learned a lot things along the way. I would have done a few things differently if I could do it over like making the front crossmember removable for ease of removing enigine/trans in one shot, do a k20 swap just because the motors are so much cheaper compared to f20 or f22. I'm located in Florida so I get to enjoy the car year round, it's been down 2 months can't wait to get up and running shouldn't be much longer. The engine lasted a good amount of time considering the amount of abuse I put it through and the fuel pressure problem I had. Luckily I did a compression and leak down test before pulling the head or I would would have but a built head on a bad short block. The car was running fine only thing I noticedwa some smoke under boost but that was the turbo rear seal found a lot of oil in the turbo housing.

Super clean and awesome looking build!!!

I would have done the dump tube a bit differently. It does not help to have it come into the exhaust on a 90* angle like you have. The idea is for the exhaust gases from the dump tube enter the exhaust on the same angle as much as possible. The same way a header merges from 4-2-1 (for example).

LHT performance made it for me I'm sure they did it that way for a reason, it works great with no boost creep so I'm not worried about it. I need to update this build had a few upgrades lately.

Boost creep wont necessarily be the issue but rather a loss of power at top end. Take a look at your dyno graph. Very uneven powerband near the end

Hey dude, sick build!
I have that same Full Blown IM that I am about to swap out with the stock one. I'm turbo charging my car too. Did you find any benefits from the Intake?
I've spend around 10 hours so far sanding the casting marks off, I'm slowly getting there.

Thanks, it looks good so far. I have no proof that it adds power but it does feel better, I changed gear ratios and had fuel pressure problems so never had a good/fair dyno reading to compare them.

So I haven't updated this thread in a while, have the car all back together runing and some more upgrades after all that. I picked up a set of the id 1700cc injectors, advan 17x10 +50 rz2's, spoon calipers, installed my custom baffled fuel tank, custom steering wheel, and found a used full blown diff kit. The diff kit was missing some parts and had a broken case got all the missing parts from dss and found a iron case installed new wheel bearings while chaging the hubs. As for the diff internals it has a etaon tru trac lsd and richmond 3.89 gear ratio. Now just need to get a tune and hope the trans will stay together for a while.
