Default T1r dual or gernby t1r dual? Supercharged

I have a tts supercharged 07 build bottom end @ 10.1 comp making 16.5 psi.... Making just shy of 450 on a dynapack with a full stock exhaust. Thinking about changing exhausts for fun, some more noise and maybe some power. Between t1r 70mm HFC with there t1r dual 70-em or a gernby with the t1r rear dual option. Or just buying a stock sized test pipe. I will obviously retune the car after changes. Looking for ideas, feed back on these sets ups from other supercharged owners.... Is any of it worth it?

T1R dual was on my radar until I went hytech dual. I bet it sounds great. Regardless test pipe will help a lot with the aggressive sound if your still on the stock cat. You won't notice to much more power though.

I love the sound of my T1R single titanium. No drone, no rasp, perfect; but at 760hp, it is now a restriction and i need more flow. I can easily sell you mine if you want

I've seen a few for sale threads of the gernpipe from supercharged guys with mentions that it didn't work well?

Anyone with a gern pipe + boost care to chime in?

Dig the multi point water/meth injection, I also ran with my supercharger.

So your still running the factory cat? If so, thats your biggest plug right now. You could literally pick up 15-20whp+ for $80 by that simple swap on to your factory exhaust. A dual cat back I dont see you picking up more then 10whp and probably less for a hell of a lot more then $80. I would steer away from a Gernby pipe for FI. he didn't design it for that and you risk melting/blowing out the cat portion of the system.

Thanks for the feed back. I'm going to t1r high flow cat and dual exhaust in 70mm and leave my factory header. I really like the idea of meth and originally did it with my stock bottom end. It has had a few leave issues which bothered me and makes the car less reliable, now on the built 10.1 bottom end the boost has fallen from 17-18 to 15ish and meth really isnt necessary anymore. I have a stock manifold about to go on and I'm pulling the meth system and retuning with the new exhaust set up. A Meth leak at the track will ruin your day quick.

Agreed its not absolutely necessary with a lower comp engine, however for track abuse, high IAT is always going to be an issue. Switch to a single pre TB port injection and run 100% water if your concerned about the potential for a leak. Run a med size nozzle around 300-400cc for great atomization to pull heat from your intake charge, lower temps for track and no risk if it stops working or develops a leak. You will know it too if your monitoring your IAT if there is a malfunction. Multi port is best suited for making more power, because you get an even distribution in each cylinder so your able to run more aggressive timing and calibrate fuel. Pre TB injection is great for supplementation for IAT control/reduction. If a multi port fails without proper tuning provisions you can have a problem. If a single port fails, you dont. This is if you follow the general rules of application.
